Bookmark collection

Hi booklovers

After watching Radeyah's video about her bookmark collection, I thought it might be nice to do a similar post.

I'm slowly building my collection, because let's be honest: we can never have enough bookmarks :-)

First, I have a number of bookmarks I made myself.
I also have some bookmarks from Katie McGarry books. When she releases a new book, she gives people the chance to apply for a bookmark ribbon with a quote from one of her books. I've gotten a few of those already and she also adds a paper bookmark with information about the book. I really appreciate the fact that this is international :-)
Last week I ordered some bookmarks from the Etsy store of Boookmarky. They arrived this week and they are gorgeous. Inside the bigger envelop they are carefully packaged in a second cute envelop.

Here are some photos with their matching books.

This Alice in Wonderland bookmark was a gift for my birthday a couple of years ago.

I got this bookmark during a 'monuments day' at the military base my brother works at. There was a whole exhibition and tour about World War I there and you could just take a bookmark, so I did. On the back you see the poem of 'In Flanders Fields'.

This last one is the most recent addition to my collection. I went bookshopping yesterday and I got this one at Sterlingbooks in Brussels.

This is my bookmark collection. Do you use 'proper' bookmarks or something else to mark your place in the book? Let me know in the comments.

Bye for now
