Anti Bullying Readathon 2017 + TBR

Hi booklovers

Today I'm coming to you with an annual tradition:
Sarah Churchill is hosting another edition of the Anti Bullying Readathon. Check out her announcement video and the Goodreads page.

The first year I participated I only managed to read one book, but last year I discovered audiobooks so I was able to read two books. Two books might not seem a lot, but I usually read only one book a week. This year I hope I can read four books.

This is my tentative TBR:

Physical books

Audiobooks

I might not get to this one, but I wanted to add it anyway:

Fingers crossed I'll get around to all of them. I'm going to try and give you some updates during the week.

Will you be joining in this Readathon? Let me know in the comments (and good luck if you are!)

Bye for now

Halloween book tag.

Hi booklovers

Tonight is Halloween and even though we don't celebrate it over here I wanted to do this tag I saw at thriceread.com.

1. Carving Pumpkins: What Book Would You Carve Up and Light On Fire?
Hmm, I haven't read that many bad books lately, but maybe 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' and 'P.S. I still love you by Jenny Han. The main character was just too juvenile for me.

2. Trick or Treat: What Character Is A Trick and What Character Is A Treat?
Trick: Ashlin from Nevernight towards the end of the book.
Treat: Azriel from ACOMAF/ACOWAR and Matthias from SoC / CK.

3. Candy Corn: What Book Is Always Sweet?
I don't read that many contemporary books but Amy & Roger's Epic Detour is such a sweet book.

4. Ghosts: What Character Would You Love To Visit You As A Ghost?
SPOILER ALERT: Matthias from SoC / CK.

5. Costumes: What Character Would You Like To Be For A Day?
Mia Corvere. Can you tell that I just read Nevernight and Godsgrave and that I loooooved it :-D

6. Wizards and Witches: What Is Your Favourite Harry Potter Moment?
This is a difficult one, there are so many to choose from. One of the funniest moments in the book is when Ron gets his Prefect letter and badge:
Molly Weasley: " I don't believe it! I don't believe it! Oh, Ron, how wonderful! A prefect! That's everyone in the family!"
George Weasley: " What are Fred and I, next-door neighbours?"
This always makes me laugh so hard.

7. Blood and Gore: What Book Was So Creepy That You Had To Take A Break From It?
I don't read creepy books, so I this hasn't happened to me yet. I have put Vassa in the Night by Sarah Porter down this morning because before I was intrigued by the story but now I just got so confused. I'm not sure if I'll finish it (soon).

Let me know your answers to some of the questions in the comments.

Happy Halloween / All Hallow's Eve!

Bye for now
